#Cyber Black Friday Deals

Published by Torry Crass on

Each Black Friday / Cyber Monday comes with hopes that some useful services and tech gadgets related to cyber security will be on-sale for the masses.

This year is no different with several good deals floating around. I decided while I window shop this year I would compile a list of deals I found that I felt others might be interested in. That list is below. To be clear, I’m not getting any kickbacks from this, just trying to share a few finds I thought were worth it if you have the cash to spend. Happy shopping!

Hak5https://shop.hak5.org/ (1 day left) – Various devices at various discounts as good as you’ll find from them any other time.
Shodan: https://shodan.io/store/member (upcoming) – Gets you Shodan membership for $5 vs. the $45 it normally runs.
Pastebinhttps://pastebin.com/pro (3 days left) – This gets you pastebin pro access for $19.95, this is lifetime access.
Protonmailhttps://protonmail.com/ (~3 days left) – This gets you two years of the pro package for the cost of one.
VMwarehttp://store.vmware.com/store/vmware/html/pbPage.BlackFridaySale (unknown left) – This gets you 35% off of workstation points. This is likely the best deal you’ll see for the year.

For home users and others looking for malware/antivirus/end-point protection or VPN solutions, most vendors are running discounts as well so you might check your current vendor (or shop around for a new one) to see what deals you have available.

I’m sure there are plenty of others out there. If I find anymore of significance, I’ll be sure to add them here.
