Walk

Published by Torry Crass on

In the night,
in the day,
I walk and walk away.

I journey on
over and over;
Mountians to valleys,
rivers to plains.
I question, to wonder;
I hope, to dream;
I conquer, yet to fail.
I find me yet to loose me.
I walk and walk again.

I see someone walking
a shadow, a tranparent
soul on a journey,
long and hard, to find something.

but what?

I approach, I see.
A mirror but don’t believe,
yet I know and turn away.
I turn back for a moment.

The figure away, I scry to see.
I see none.

far from light
far from sight
I walk and walk away
