A Poet’s Prayer

Published by Torry Crass on

Goddess, I ask for you to grant my words
the ability to float on tongues
to fly through the air ever so gracefully.
To be detailed down to the very atoms
of ink and paper they absorb into.
Yet to be as simple and comprehensible
as ones native language.
Always intriguing, always intuitive.
by far ingenious and cunning as a
simple fox and hair chase.
